Neven Dravinski, UFC Producer: "The Patch for UFC 2009 Undisputed has been released on the Xbox 360 World Wide and the PS3 for Europe. The Patch is currently in submission with Sony America and we expect to release it very soon. As the Xbox and Sony Europe updates were available sooner than expected we made the decision to get the Patch out to the public rather than sit on them. Stay on the lookout for updates regarding the Patch release for Sony America."

Yakuza 3 American Release Still "Unconfirmed" (Yakuza 3)

Kotaku writes: "Keep hope alive! It seems SEGA America’s Ray Almeda misspoke and gave his own personal opinion to The Examiner that Yakuza 3 will not be released in the States because of subpar Yakuza 2 sales.

The Examiner has since run an update, explaining those remarks were not "official SEGA statements." The Examiner adds, "SEGA still hasn’t made any mention of an upcoming release or revealed plans to release it stateside."

PS3 exclusive Yakuza 3 (AKA Ryu Ga Gotoku 3) was released in Japan last February, selling over 200,000 copies in its first day."

NBA Live 10: Bringing Back the Culture of Hoops (NBA Live 10)

The Herp of Spawn Kill Writes:

"Ever since the transition into the current generation of consoles, the NBA Live series has been the younger, less successful, brother in the basketball game family. Every year before the season starts they have to go back home and sit there while everyone keeps telling NBA 2K how great and successful they are. This year EA Sports is hoping to show up their "older brother" by making their game more authentic than ever and by hiring Mike Wang, formally of 2K Sports, to be their lead gameplay designer. With someone from 2K Sports spearheading the design you can expect a lot of gameplay improvements. So far EA has not released too much information in terms of what is new to NBA Live 10 but they have released some gameplay footage as well as a recent blog post discussing about the authenticity of the new title."

MAG Beta is "internal only" (MAG)

A multiplayer beta for Sony’s 256-player online shooter, MAG: Massive Action Game, is currently under way, but you’re not invited.

Reports of a "MAG Beta" showing up on people’s now-playing status on PSN are cropping up, reported to be the profiles of Sony employees.

Sony confirmed to CVG that it is indeed a "closed Beta" for "internal staff only", so you’ve got no chance of getting on it yourself. But it could be a sign that the expected public beta test will be with us sooner rather than later?
