EA Releases DRM De-Authorization Tool (Spore)

As you may already know and bitch about, some EA PC games only allow the owner to install the game on five machines. Back in December, EA released a de-authorization tool for Spore which allowed users to switch these five authorizations around between machines. Now they’ve unveiled a new tool that allows you to do this for over a dozen different games with SecuROM.

Rumour: Halo 3 PC in 2009, Gears of War to Stay Xbox-Exclusive? (Halo 3)

Split-screen.com: "Their showing at this year’s Game Developers’ Conference 2009 may not exactly reaffirm hopes but Microsoft has been very active as of late, albeit in secret. Besides rumours of new IPs from Rare doing the rounds, Microsoft Game Studios, the main in-charge of the Xbox and Games for Windows game division, has been doing the rounds on Gamasutra with about 18 job postings for various offers within the company. These rumours are pretty heavy but none more heavy than the fate of the 360’s two biggest franchises and heavy hitters since the console’s launch: Halo 3 and Gears of War. In fact, based on two of Microsoft Game Studios’ listings, rumours suggest that Halo 3 may be coming to the PC this year and Gears of War could stay exclusive to Microsoft’s platforms."

‘Fable 2′ Developers Tested Microphone-Control For Game’s Dog (Fable II)

Gamers who played last fall’s Xbox 360 hit "Fable II" were supposed to feel an emotional connection to the virtual canine that faithfully followed their hero throughout the game.

The dog was mostly self-sufficient - following, leading and fighting on its own - though it did do tricks with the press of a button.

What if players could talk to that dog?

Wii Fit for the tech savvy adult (Wii Fit)

Examiner:

"Let’s face it: your average adult is not working out with the Nintendo Wii. That doesn’t mean they couldn’t benefit from a more enjoyable exercise experience, but more that they don’t take Wii Fit seriously as a legitimate exercise program.

Enter the ProForm 850 with GameFit Technology. What the eff does "GameFit Technology" mean? Well, it means that this elliptical has some sweet games built in that you can play while working out. When I say sweet, of course, I mean totally lame."

Fatal Frame IV coming to Europe (Project Zero)

Seems Fatal Frame IV is finally being released outside of Japan. Now we will be clear Tecmo has not made any announcements about release dates or even it being released in Europe but it’s hard to argue with the above print of the game in a magazine.
